Well since I’m working on it, I thought I’d share with you a way I know that makes a lovely little profit.
I’m sure you probably noticed the recent drop in maple logs, well this is what gives even more proift
Buy the maple logs and then use with the knife with the logs to get longbow(u) which general stores love.. If you have none in stock at the time, they’ll pay __ for them and at minimum, 64gp for them. With maple logs costing aroun 30gp, you’re making double you’re money.
I like to do this in Catherby, there’s the general store (Arhein) VERY close to the bank and it’s often peaceful, but you can do this anywhere. Catherby is just good for closeness and easy to get to.
Here’s just to show the price difference now.. It’s quite nice.

Personally, I hate it, but you don’t have to. Quests can be great to kill time and to give you a little more xp in some skills. But if you’re going after the pretty little cape and don’t want to keep guessing at what skills you need, I’ve got a list of what level you need in which skill for you. [:

Attack - 40, Strength - 69, Defence - 65, Ranged - 75, Prayer - 55, Magic - 75, Runecrafting - 50, Construction - 50.

HP - N/A, Agility - 69, Herblore - 65, Theiving - 66, Crafting - 66, Fletching - 70, Slayer -59, Hunter - 61.

Mining - 64, Smithing - 69, Fishing - 62, Cooking - 70, Firemaking - 61, Woodcutting - 75, Farming - 65, Summoning - 41.

So my goals were for 99 Cooking and Fletching
I’ve got 99 Cook, and am working fletch.. Hopefully by December (:

+31,780 ranks

On 8th August; I got 92 in Fletching and Cooking, so I’m half way now ^^

Just an update on how I’m doing with Cook…


Ok, with 99 Cook in the bag, I’m going after 99 Fletch.. And then, who knows what I’ll do..

Everybody likes chocolate, so why not make money off it?

Buy chocolate bars from Grand Exchange for 83 coins for at max .

The use with a knife to make them into chocolate dust which is sold for min at 99gp.

Suggest you use knife to chocolate or you might eat it :3 lol

So I bought 135 (5 pocketfulls, including knife) to test it..

Payed: 10,125gp

Sold at: 13,605gp

Profit: 3,480gp

Not bad, for about 3 minutes ^_^

Thanks to Ted, for doing the working out… Why though, I have no clue.

These are my current goals:

I’m not the best and I have a few unranked (0%) but that’s me.

This is an easy way to make money for f2p (also p2p).

All you need for this a good cooking level; 1 is the lowest for this, but I think around 15 is when you don’t burn them.

1) Buy RAW Anchovies from the Grand Exchange

2) Cook

3) Sell

Firstly, when I did this I tried with 250 as a test, I bought for 29k. I sold 248 (had to eat some - random event >.<) and so got 40,920gp. I divided the money (40,920) by the amount sold (248) and doubled and added on to see that selling 250 would have got me 41,250. So the overall profit from 250 is 12,250gp, but my profit was 11,920. Not bad for a few mins work :D.

Note: The anchovies take a while to buy, so is best not to sit there staring at the screen for ages ;). This includes buying at max.

I have tried this out and it works well, why not try it for yourself

40 construction
15 woodcutting
Axe equiped

Extra:
House Tele (1)
Ardougne Tele (1)

1) tele to ardougne
2) find servants house and hire butler (5k)
3) tele to house
4) go out of portal and cut 20 oak logs
5) “use” logs to butler and opt for sawmill (needs 5k)
6) when butler returns he gives you oak planks
7) “use” planks to butler and to bank
repeat

- the butler will ask to be payed an extra 5k for work occasionally, I got 16 pocketfulls and had to pay four times.
I did this and with 100k and got:
16 x 20 lots of oak planks
birds nest -> sapphire ring & crushed net

Sold for:
oak planks (320) = 140,160
crushed nest (1) =   1,747
sapphire ring (1)=     540
TOTAL            = 142,447
PROFIT           =  42,447

Note: This will work best in building mode
Works as long as oak planks are above 200gp

Screenies :

Have 20 logs in invo.

Then…
pay 5k for taking to sawmill then butler gets back and hands you 20 oak planks.

Next….
“use” oak planks to butler and he will take them to the bank for you.

Ocassionally he will ask for extra pay (5k)
